Echoes of Images #01 – Apollo 11

2026

Echoes of Images #01 – Apollo 11 examines the Moon landing as an image of technological boundary crossing. Historical photographs are displayed on a screen, physically altered with aluminium foil, partly digitally manipulated, and then re-photographed on black-and-white film. Archive, screen, intervention and analogue recording overlap to form a hybrid image reality. The work asks how historical images continue to exist through reproduction, transformation and renewed materialisation — and how human expansion inscribes itself into their visual legacy.
